Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of Yaks AI Business & Finance Hub in Ghana, provided by Mindflow AI Ghana Ltd(“we”, “us”). Company details to be completed. Pending legal review By creating an account you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

Yaks AI helps you record income and expenses, import statements, scan receipts and invoices, view financial summaries and reports, and ask an AI assistant questions about your finances. Features and monthly usage limits depend on your plan and are shown on the pricing page. We may improve or change features over time.

3. Your account

• You must be 18 or over and able to enter a contract for your business.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you suspect misuse.
• Give accurate information. One person or business per account.

4. Your information

The financial records you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run the service, including sending summaries to our AI provider as explained in the Privacy Policy. You can export your transactions as CSV at any time. You promise you have the right to upload what you upload.

5. Plans, prices and payment

• Starter is free forever (with monthly usage limits shown on the pricing page). Paid plans are priced in Ghana Cedis (GH₵): Pro GH₵249 and Business GH₵449 per month. Whether prices include VAT and levies
• Card subscription: renews automatically every month through Paystack until you cancel.
• Mobile Money pass: a one-off payment that gives 30 days of the plan. It does not renew automatically — you renew it yourself, and your plan returns to Free when it ends.
• Payments are processed by Paystack under its own terms. We never see your full card number or Mobile Money PIN.
• We do not offer a free trial on paid plans; the free Starter plan lets you try the product.
• If a payment fails we may restrict paid features until it is fixed.

6. Changing and cancelling

• Card subscriptions: you can cancel from the Billing page after confirming. Cancelling stops future charges, and you keep your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for. At the end of that period your account moves to the free Starter plan. Access-until-period-end cancellation as a consumer term
• Mobile Money passes are a one-off payment for 30 days. They do not renew, so there is nothing to cancel; you keep the full 30 days and then your account returns to Starter (free).
• Cancelling does not by itself refund any payment. Refunds are covered in section 7.
• To move between paid plans, contact us so that you are never charged twice; we will help promptly.
• Your records are kept when you move to Free, although Free limits apply. You can subscribe again at any time.
• Administrator or complimentary access granted by us is separate from any plan you pay for.

7. Refunds, reversals and disputes

• Refunds are decided by us and are not automatic. If you think you were charged in error or twice, contact us at hello@yaksaibusinesshub.com or WhatsApp +233508382539. Refund eligibility and timeframes (Ghana consumer protection)
• If a payment is fully refunded to you, or your bank or mobile-money provider reverses it (a chargeback), the paid access that payment provided ends immediately and your account moves to the free Starter plan. A refund that is still pending, or only partial, does not by itself end your access, but we may review it.
• A refund of an earlier payment does not remove access you have since paid for with a different payment.
• Refunds are returned through Paystack to the original payment method; timing depends on your bank or mobile-money provider, and payment-processor fees may not be returned. Treatment of Paystack fees on refunds
• We keep a record of every payment, cancellation, refund and dispute for accounting and legal reasons.

8. Acceptable use

• Do not break the law, attempt to access other users’ data, interfere with the service, or reverse-engineer it.
• Do not upload malicious files or content you have no right to use.
• Do not misuse the AI features or try to avoid usage limits.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

9. AI features — important

AI answers, reports, insights and automatic categorisation are generated automatically, can be wrong or incomplete, and are for general information only. They are not financial, tax, accounting, legal or investment advice. Check important figures and speak to a qualified professional (for example a Ghana Revenue Authority–registered tax practitioner or a chartered accountant) before making decisions or filing returns. You are responsible for your own tax and compliance. Pending legal review

10. Availability

We work to keep the service available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance.

11. Our responsibility

We provide the service with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss or for losses caused by relying on AI output or by events outside our control, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. 12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end or suspend the service to you for serious breach of these terms. Pending legal review

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and disputes will be dealt with by the Ghanaian courts, unless the law requires otherwise. Pending legal review
